----------------------------------------------------------------------- List2Web V 0.1.2 (2003-04-14) 2002 by Volker Tanger ----------------------------------------------------------------------- List2Web publishes mails archived by the MINIMALIST maillist manager as webpages. Not as featureful as e.g. MHonarch or Hypermail it is much faster and prove to be more reliable while featuring template-processing. Requirements: * Perl installed (version 5.something will do) * Unix shell (usually /bin/sh) * Mail list archives set to monthly. (default) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Please configure the proper paths in the shell file: ARCHIVE = full path to the archive of the mailing list in MINIMALIST format WEB = full path to the location of the web pages on this server WEBEXT = extension of the web pages - usually html DIRTEMPLATE = template (full path) of the mail directory MAILTEMPLATE = template (full path) of the single mails listings Templates are copied verbatim (1:1) as header and footer of the corresponding web pages. Header and footer are separated by a line of equotation marks (=============). Should be obvious if you look into the templates provided. The shell command is the one to be called. It will invoke the perl subroutine as necessary. New files will only be created if they did not exist yet. But the index will be created each time anew. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Shortcut: Distributable under GPL ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright (C) 2000-2002 Volker Tanger This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
