Hi
you perl script helped a lot during the actual conversion
and yes i am talking about real life experience , there where one or 2
erros while doing it but trust me if it was not you script then it would
have taken days for the actual conversiona and then the manual method also
would have caused a lot of errors
so thanks ....
my query while writing this mail was now since we have moved from checkpoint
to netscreen
netscreen does have NSM ( but due to cost factor not purchased it )
do you have script that could extract the data from netscreen firewall and
dump it to csv, text, excel or SQL database
i have used Nipper but nipper is for complite file .. what i am looking
for is a example
a single ip search inside that netscreen config and then produce a report
for the same ..
i have used general methods like parse and grep but they dont provide the
output close enough what i am looking for ..
can you guide me .. .in this direction
